The .LONDON top-level domain (TLD) is for those who have some relation to the UK’s capital, such as working, living, or doing business within the Greater London area.

Having a website with this TLD allows you to:

• Have a memorable domain with a prestigious extension
• Be easily located on the Internet when users search for specific information in this city

.LONDON domains can be registered for a period of 1-10 years by individuals and businesses that have a physical address in London (the City of London itself and its 32 boroughs). 

If you don't have one, you will need to declare that you have an affiliation with or interest in London per Registry's request, for instance, to provide information or offer products and services relevant to London or Londoners.

According to the Registry's Naming policy, users may not register or use Domain Names that the Registry determines in its absolute discretion to be detrimental to the goodwill and reputation of London (a "Name Detrimental to London"). More details can be found in Naming Policy.
